Thanatos Hound ref

knocking out two things at once... the character above is my own Hound named Niteskies and she is female.

species bio::
~the ankh ([link]) is an ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY marking and the only abstract marking these hounds can have. It can be decorative in style, any size (but be rational on this part), and anywhere on the body. You can have the gradual transition between shades as seen on Niteskies' wings above. the can have 'socks and mittens' as markings and/or have a lighter underbelly. Those are the ONLY markings a hound can have.
~fur tends to stay on the darker side
~average height- 10 ft at shoulder
~average weight: males- 250 lbs, females- 200 lbs
~no outward showing genitalia
~have no mouths but feed on souls of dying
~in reproduction, sex is an unnecessary action since the means of creating young is merely the sharing and fusing of collected souls of the 'mother' and 'father' hounds.
~average lifespan: 164-238 years
~feeding: Hounds can sense dying souls with the little curls on their ear tips. Once the soul is found the hound captures the soul and slowly devours it over time. In the process of feeding the hound's eyes dilate completely and they breathe in part of the soul's energy.
